At the start of last month I was very kindly sent out the new Artistry exact fit perfecting concealer and ideal radiance illuminating CC cream to try out.
As I'm sure you will know if you have been following my blog for a while I have very problematic skin and it changes so much, so as always I wanted to really test this product with all my different skin types to give you a better review.
The first thing I noticed about the CC cream is that is contains SPF 50 to protect against UVA/UVB rays. This is fab as I always forget to apply an SPF below my make up so the fact it is in this product is a real plus point for me.
I received the CC cream in shade light/medium and it was slightly too dark, but that is the case with most face products for me as I am super pale so even the lightest shade in products is usually too dark for me.
So what did I think of the Ideal Radiance Illuminating CC Cream?? Easy answer I adore it, honestly it is one of the nicest face products I have ever used. I tried it when my skin was dry, oily, combination and also spotty.
Each time it went on like a dream, I tried it with primer and without and yes primer made it sit even nicer on my skin, but when applied on its own it was still lovely.
The CC cream is soo flawless on the skin I couldn't believe how my face looked, it actually was as if I had put a filter on my face, the coverage was buildable and it didn't feel at all heavy in my skin. this is another plus point for me as I like a full coverage but hate the feeling of wearing loads of product.
I was worried that it might turn patchy during the day as around my nose and cheeks product would often break up, but I had nothing to worry about as the CC cream stayed in place ALL day!
The finish of the illuminating CC cream is just like nothing I have ever used, it is so natural and easy to apply, it has a soft texture and blends so well.. A definite 10 out of 10 for me.
Next up was the Perfecting Concealer. This comes is 5 different shades ranging from light to dark and also in a brightening shade, so highlight and brighten the skin.
I was sent out the brightening shade which I was super pleased with as I have recently been trying to get a more dewy highlighted look to my skin as it is coming into the nicer weather I want that sun kissed look to my skin.
The packaging of the concealer is brilliant as it looks like one of them lipstick tubes with the mirror on the side, so it is perfect for on the go and popping into your handbag or pocket.
The brush is just the right size and shape to apply the product easily around the eye area. Just as I was expecting with the concealer it is soo easy to apply and blends really well. I tried blending it with my finger, a beauty blender and also a brush and it blended out perfectly every time.
It gave my face a subtle glow that I liked, it wasn't over the top but I'm sure if you wanted to build on it you could.
The combination of the two products together was just gorgeous, my skin looked really hydrated and flawless. I felt really good about myself and when other people commented that my skin looked amazing I knew I was onto a winner.
So if you are looking for a CC cream and concealer that is easy to apply, lasts all day and isn't heavy then I would definitely recommend these products from Artistry.
As you can see from the above pictures my skin looks amazing. I haven't touched up the pictures of added any filters, this is taken straight from my camera phone :)
Hope you all enjoyed my little review, if you have any questions or want to know anything more about any of the products, just send me a little message :)
Lots of Love...
